... just for a bit of perspective, these were on a main/passing siding combo, about 3/4 mile from their convergence where overhead highway bridgework was being performed... which might have been part of the reason... Thoughts? Answers?
These are CSX "Warning Signs". They are placed 2 miles (with a couple exceptions) from a point of restriction, whether it is a temporary speed restriction, or a M-O-W work zone.
