In honor of the recent Peabody Geep featured in a forum thread by Steve I thought I'd post pics of another Kentucky coal-hauling shortline. The Tradewater Railway was incorporated in Western Kentucky in the 1980s on former ICG trackage from Princeton, KY to serve coal mines near Blackford, KY. They rostered three ex-RI GP18s, an ex-Precision GP10, and a SW9. Later, they leased four ex-CNW GP9r's from Omnitrax before ceasing operations in the mid-1990s. I decided to do #1342 along with some of their distinctive blue/black hoppers. Enjoy! Chad
