Can anyone point me to prototype photos of 89' flats w/ the old 'Trailer Train' logo ? Was this paint scheme still on the rails in the mid '90's?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Yes, the older TT scheme was still around in the mid 90's. In fact, some are probably still out there now. Check out this photo of a TTWX that appears to have been taken in 2004...

There are other good photos at: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net

I like the older scheme too and have a couple of custom painted 89 flats in the older TT scheme riding on my modern-era layout...

    Yes,

The old TT scheme was still on in the 90's and is around today. As a matter of fact there is a spur by my work where UP stores flat cars for deployment. There is even some of the old mineral brown cars around.

We have 5 Trailer Train painted cars assigned to our pipe service pool, so they are around even today.

thanks for the info and links guys (that rrpicturearchives site is awesome, Russ). It seems like all of the pics of 'TT' flats are container/trailer setup like Russ's nice model, and since the trailer I'm doing is set up as Triple 28, I ended up decalling it up as TTX 975537 "Triple 28/Twin 45". I'll save the TT decals for my next trailer!
