Hello everyone, I'm new to this page and I am seeking expert help. I am considering purchasing the BLI model of the New Haven I-5 steam locomotive. I need to know several things... 1/what trains were they used on? 2/Did the "Yankee Clipper" always have the "American Flyer" type streamline cars or would Standard heavyweights be accurate? 3/ would corrugated side streamline cars be appropriate, or would that be after steam locos were used? 4/what would a typical train consist be for the Yankee Clipper? The Merchants Limited? I am having difficulty locating the "American Flyer" type cars. I know there are some out there and I am watching on e-bay for them I appreciated any and all help you can provide me. I have a copy of "Dining on the Shore Line Route" but that doesn't help me much with train consists. Thanks again Charlie (host of "Storytime with Charlie" on the Railfanning Discussions board)
