You can be sure they will be the greatest waste of time you have ever turned blue for.

Edit: Ok, got one up there.

Slanting windows, fascinating. A beautiful example of your cam-corder's relatively slow vertical scan rate....either that, or the Acela was going very, very fast.....NOT!

The "cam corder" is my Kodak "C513". The other illusion - you might have to watch it twice - is that the top of the train is moving right to left and the windows appear to be moving left to right.

The train was probably moving about 30mph.

I was able to get the camera lens through the chain link for other pictures but not what I wanted.

C'mon Steve, you're The Man. Most folks use a Daylight Filter or a Polarizing Filter, but you go first class....you use a Chain Link Filter. :tb-cool:

LOL - I missed that post. That's me, out of the box. Wait? box? What box? You mean there is a box? sheesh!

Here are a couple of shots taken on the way to work. Yes, I _should_ have been on the train but it was such a nice day.

Don't know about a great shot, but I couldn't run fast enough to get that front pole out of the shot before the locos when screamin' by.

Shot from a moving car at 70 MPH. You never know when a digital camera will take a shot so it is hard to get a good composition when everything is moving. This was just outside Bowie, Texas on old Denver & Fort Worth line. December 3, 2008.

Correct. I noticed it a while ago and wondered how obvious it was.
