    Let's see:

    1. These units were built with optional 5000 gallon fuel tanks, which caused EMD to locate the air reservoirs inside the long hood, instead of above the fuel tank like on other units.

    2. Units were equipped with low-profile cooling fans and low mounted horns on account of clearance restrictions.
