System & Environment: Windows 10 PC Xfinity/Comcast Router RJ45 cable connected to Arduino Shield (not clone) from NetGear Ethernet Switch Command Station: (no Clones) Arduino Mega Arduino Ethernet Shield v2 Arduino Motor Shield (Stacked in this order) with motor shield on top. DCC++ Sketch Selections: Under the Comm.h tab, Comm_Type 2 is selected for ARDUINO-ORG ETHERNET-2 SHIELD (WIZNET 5500) Under the Config.h tab, zero is selected for Shield Type, 1 is selected for COMM_Interface which is the Arduino.cc Ethernet/SD-Card Shield Not sure about the IP address. I know this may need to be changed but I don't know how ping the Shield on my LAN. Ethernet Port is set to 2560. Does the MAC Address mater on a PC. Anyway.... When I try to connect to the Command Station with JMRI, JMRI connects via the Com3 just fine, JMRI cannot find it via the Ethernet Connection. Question 1: How do I find the IP address of the Ethernet Shield on my LAN? Question 2: Do I need to configure anything on my router for port forwarding? Question 3: What am I missing here? Thanks in advance for any help, David
