Woo Hoo Yeah Baby....Bob convinced me to go ahead and buy another decoder instead of trying to hardwire the one I have. I got it today. Let me put in a plug right here for Litchfield Station, I called them on Tuesday at noon and my decoder arrived here in Dayton, OH from Arizona today. Well, I've got trains running, and DCC is all everyone said it would be. It's magical, so completely smooth compared to DC...unbelieveable really. I'm really excited. My son and I ran trains for a while as soon as we hooked it up. I have a few rough places on my track where I soldered that need some attention, but other than that life is good. Just want to thank all of you guys for leading me through getting everything wired. Kozmo pointed out a problem that I'll have to fix concerning my "one way" reverse loop, but I'll fix that later. Thanks Again!!!
Jeff: I'm glad to hear you're up and running with DCC. You'll never look back. Now you can play with all the CV's. Have fun....:shade: Stay cool and run steam......
Jeff, great to hear, Bob is right you will not go back. Now download that decoder Pro from JMRI and really play with the CV's
CV? What can you change? OKane, I haven't gotten to the CV stuff yet at all, not really sure what all you can change with that. Can you give me some ideas of things that you can do with it? I haven't got time to read up on it right now, but I will later.
