I have the decoder installed in my GP9. I want to make the running engine on standing locomotive. Let's say the locomotive is getting ready for trip waiting in a yard. How could I do that? Now the engine stops on stopped locomotive.

What do you have CV113 set too?

Try putting in a value of 255- I think that there maybe a different CV that effects this also, but I will have to read the manual to find it.
I think that I would just do a factory reset and then try it. This will set the decoder back to factory defaults, Run on address 3 see what happens.
The set the address to your liking if it works.

Try setting CV 113 to 0 ..That should turn off the time out feature .

please see the youtube. the locomotive turns to idling on 1:20 and goes down on 2:15. I would like to make the idling endless. Is it possible?
