I just built a hidden staging yard for my new railroad. I run DCC and I want to install simple atlas table mounted switch machines only for those two turnouts. The question is how do I wire them? Can I connect them directly to the DCC bus wires for power? Also I want to install a jpushbutton control panel for them on the facia. What type of button can I use? I also want to be able to somehow stop those trains when they reach the end of this stub ended staging yard. Is there some sort of sensor that can be installed to either cut off the power to those rails or light a bulb on the facia to indicate that the train is nearing the end of the staging?
