I had fun today, first I cut the mainlin tracks so I prepas teh area to be a liftout mountain, and then I did some fun work ont eh insides of the roundhouse...about the only thing I DIDN'T do was wiring, but I know how to do that easily.

I put in the tracks, cut in the pits, and then I put in the Driver lifts too, that is so that can take off the drive wheels and send them to a lathe and turn them. I then poured the floor and also spent a while carving that floor to flat and smooth. it was fun.

Do to the space as setup, the lathe for the drive wheels is going to be in a second room, which will be trhoughthe door. There would also be a piece that rides around from the other track, making it possible to get those wheels over in this direciton too. Two pits, one lathe!

I ran out of track...the last two tracks will ahevt o wait. And I did not put any pits ont eh first Stall (Short engines) but obvioulsy, I will be putting in a scaffold at the end of the track, to look like a scaffold to reach the top odf a smoke box, but in actuality, it will be toothpicks at the base int he palster to prevent a train form going throughthe window and well, tumbling a long ways!!!
