4652 looks like Guilford colors. Also the big black blob in the center of the hood is where Guilford places their big white "G". Purely circumstantial evidence, but possible...
CP 4652 is a GP40-2 manufactured by EMD 1977/12. Former owners were HATX 506, GTI 310 and B&M 310. Could be left over paint scheme from a previous owner. Picture showing the other side.
Yeah, I vote for Guilford. I have seen a lot of them and that blacked out "G" is a giveaway. CSX had some like it too. Harold
Yup the scheme is Guilford, from when they ran the B&M. The loco is an old B&M GP40, which you can tell by the lack of DBs. There were several of these locos in theis scheme which have since been repainted into the Golden Beaver scheme. I'm currently preparing to model one of these locos in the newer scheme.
Don't know about you guys, but I like it when railroads do this. I'm working on an N scale CP SD40 repaint that 'll post here end of week if I can get 'er done. I'ts a total fantasy scheme, but hey, it's my railroad.

Here is an all red paint job sitting on a siding at Afton, numbered CN 2447. Both were idling. Note the Zebra stripe job in back! [ May 10, 2005, 12:40 AM: Message edited by: watash ]
