Are there any fans of Britain's railways out there? Don't forget that we are part of Europe (especially when viewed from elsewhere in the world). There are many changes taking place on the UK rails, which would make interesting posts. ------------------ Alan www.ac-models.com http://Andersley.homestead.com http://galleryusarail_tehcaj.homestead.com http://eurogallery.homestead.com
No fans of Britain's railways then? Perhaps they have all defected to US railroads ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com http://Andersley.homestead.com http://galleryusarail_tehcaj.homestead.com http://eurogallery.homestead.com
Alan, Whoever ownes this board is not doing enough to promote it! I mention this board on every other board I visit. That being said, the UK has more railroads than highways. Is there a darth of computers in the UK? BTW is it true that the UK has a 70mph/120kph speed limit? ------------------ When in doubt, empty your magazine.
chris, some mainlines are passed for 125mph, i know the one near me is, i think some may even be passed for 150mph ------------------ wheres all the C636's???? stickymonk.com Matts Photo gallery
Chris, yes, we do have computers here Although not as many as in the US, as we have to pay for internet access, but not me I have the only true free one at present, no joining or monthly fees, and no phone charges between 6 pm and 8 am, or anytime at weekends. So I can browse without clock-watching! Other ISP's are beginning to get the message No, we do not have more railways than roads, but the ratio is higher than in the States. As SM said, our major main lines are 125mph, it's our motorways that have a 70mph limit You must realise that there are a lot more of you, England is only about the size of an average state But we will gradually show people that this is an International forums board, it is a very young board, and will take time to build, and the majority of contributors will always be from the USA, which pleases me, as I am an avid fan of your railroads. ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com http://Andersley.homestead.com http://galleryusarail_tehcaj.homestead.com http://eurogallery.homestead.com
