I am looking for a roof shot of the UP United Way SD40-2 #3300. I have all around shots (if anyone wants some, email me) but I noticed some piping on the roof that starts in the rear and moves forward, but I don't know how far. Anyone have a shot or one of another unit in the same production order that might be the same? Thanks. ------------------ -Ryan Wilkerson
How many of these were made I know CPR also did a SD9043MAC #9153. And, what good does this do for United Way???? Do they (United Way) get money?? I could see it as good promo for the UW if they ran some kinda special train to promote it, or even had the 9153 (I am pretty sure that is the one) On the Canadian Pacific Christams Train) I know this is off topic, but I had to ask.
quote:
How many of these were made

As far as I know, 3300 is the only UP unit in UW colors.
quote:
And, what good does this do for United Way???? However, most employers support the United Way (mine included), so it may also remind the public as well. To make a long answer short, it is a rolling billboard that travels the country advertising the United Way. ------------------ Kevin Stevens www.trainweb.org/KernJunction
