    Was running errands in town the other day, saw this across the tracks from the ice plant, and thought I'd take a picture & share it with you. It's the much-anticipated Cotton Belt heritage-scheme locomotive!!!!!!

    Well, OK, maybe not.......but ya don't see many unpatched SP diesels these days now, do ya?:teeth:

    This threesome of GP60s is used on runs up the Tulsa Branch, as well as the "Pryor Flyer" (the local up the former MKT to Pryor, OK)

    Here's a closer look at 9647:

    Looks like someone "touched up" the red on the rear of this locomotive......

    Bob, looks like someone repainted at least the red. You're right about the few unpatched units running.

    A very lucky/good catch. Amazing to see how much the paint can fade!

    Has not faded much since March 24, 2011. Here is the same engine switching the yard in Hearne on that date.
