    Model Power is advertising the loco as "metal"
    but at $139.98 it is NOT brass. I presume it is a diecast metal boiler like the old Arnold Rapido Pacifics made in the mid-1970's.

    I understood what it said, but my point is it doesn't look like a prototype i can use. Unless they decide to make a different prototype from the Z model pictured. This disappoints me because I'd rather not spend brass prices to get some C&O prototype locos. The MP Pacific would be a cheaper alternative to brass if it's an appropriate prototype.
