Does anyone know how to flush images out of queue when uploading?

For some reason, a few days ago, Internet Explorer or RI stopped allowing me to upload - I get a 'can't find website' or a 'timed out' error response when I ''Submit/Upload." Going back to the Upload page, it tells me I have 4 images in queue. That would have to be those 4 that I couldn't load successfully. I no longer want to upload them - don't want them to have URLs. So - how do I flush them our of queue and take away any URls they man have? I think I have to clean out whatever the queue is before I can analyze the unable-to-upload problem.

Boy, technology is great! Thanks for your help.

Scott, that's one I have never run across. Let me see if I can get help.

    Scott,

I would guess Explorer timed out. Safari has timed out on me went I've spent too much time writing descriptions. Have you tried, under Extra Options, checking the box that says "Skip upload and process . . ." I'm not sure what that will do, but it may clear the problem.

Usually if I quit the browser, images in the queue are lost. In fact, if I even hit "Refresh" things usually disappear.

But this is a new one. Where on the screen is this message appearing?

    Uploading problems

Yes, this does seem a little "different," since I had good luck uploading and posting all last week. Then it came on suddenly Friday afternoon - the 2 browser error responses, "Internet Explorer Cannot DIsplay Website" and "Webpage has times out." I musta tried uploading a couple dozen times over the weekend - figured maybe RI was down for work. Pete, the error response was the normal full-screen response - the big "i" and error verbage you get if you, say, put in an intentionally-wrong URL.
I first notice the '4 images in your quue' notatioin on the IR Upload page early Monday. The 4 would be the 2 scanned images I was trying to upload Friday when the problem developed plus 2 more images I picked to experiment with, trying to troubleshoot whatever was going on. Experimenting, I noticed some interesting things:
    1. When I'd try another upload with a different image, I'd still get the errors (above).
    2. When I'd try another upload with one of my already-uploaded images, I'd get the same errors.
(i.e, changing the images to upload didn't avoid the error responses.)
    3. My upload description was long enough that I saved it to paste into my next upload attempt. Every time I pasted it into the description box, I got the errors.
    4. Whenever I'd change the title, description and keywords to "test" - i.e.,change everthing but the browse location to "test" - I'd successfully get a picture....BUT
    5. I'd get FOUR pictures - evidently the 4 in queue - even though I'd put in only one image to upload.

I have to think the problem is related to my original images (scans) or copying and pasting description text. I don't think Inernet Explorer timed out in the usual sense - if you see this, then it didn't time me out.

I dunno - it was working so well for me. I'll play with it and report findings. If you have any ideas or can tell me how to flush the 4 out of queue, I'll certainly appreciate it. Thanks, Gents!
