We are trying to remove the decks of the corrugated aluminum Dome car and Observation car to add more passenger figures and reglue the ones that have unglued. Have tried many ways to remove the plastic and metal decks from the cars,but no luck. Would someone post the way that they have removed the decks of the cars. Thanks. The oldrailroader
Wellcome to Train Board and to the G scale section. I myself have never taken one apart as I don't have any USA Trains passenger cars. I do have books and remember one shows installing the people inside. Let me research this and I'll get back to you. If I can't find anything there, have patience and I'll ask Charles Ro when I go to the East Coast Large Scale train show in a couple of weeks. Charles Ro who owns USA Trains will be there. I have looked thru all of my USA Trains books and they all show changing the figures, but not how to do it. However in the catalogs the bodies are removed from the lower frame in the catalogs to gain access to the figures. I did not see how the upper deck figures in the observation car are changed. I guess this question is for Charles Ro when I see him next week.
