Got myself the Rokuhan double crossover. I guess I was expecting it to operate like four of their power routing turnouts. Not quite. The straight route is always powered regardless of the position of the points. Unfortunately I need the divergent routes to be the mains. I'm thinking that gapping the outer rails and a bit of rework on the PC board should fix this. Anyone have any thoughts? experiences? Mark
Can you hackup some of the color 'wiring turnouts' examples like 'wiring for DCC' site has. May better explain what you are looking for or concerns about.
Jeff, For DCC the solution is easy, Rokuhan provides a user installed PCB for that purpose. The design has all the diamond and lead-in rails electrically configurable and it doesn't look complicated. It's one of those times when I'd like input from the manufacturer: the design looks like it was designed to do what I want and for some reason Rokuhan backed off.
