With vacation ending today, and having to return to that ugly, 4 letter word - work - tomorrow
night, I took advantage of some cooler weather, plus my time off and ran some trains.
Ran a good 10+ hours over the last 4 days. Anything from 6 hours today, to a minimum of 2 1/2 hours.
Ran the GP40's mainly, since the wheels to the K27 still not clean! Changed track around a while back, during
my 2 month LOA, so things flow smoother and look much better. Have the run to the back laid out temporarily.
Until the curve track I need shows up!! Now to start figuring how to automate polarity change on a couple of reverse loops!
Unfortunately, no photos. Picking up, too late or feet just too darn sore to go get camera.
If I have some time tomorrow, I'll try to get a few photos of current layout.
Maybe some more, minor track work, to keep the K27 from derailing. And making sure the NG cars stay on the track!
Loosening the trucks helped a bit n a few so far.
    Oh well......

Sunday/Monday maybe. If it isn't too hot outside.
Feet hurting bad enough. Prefer to sit down and stay!!
The less walking I do, the less I hurt. But still in some wicked pain regardless!!
Just need to make sure I grab camera on my way UP stairs!
So I don't have to come back down after it!!

Got some photos of the railroad.
Nothing running though, since it would have taken
a bit too long to set up and run. Even under the
tree, it was still too hot for personal preference!
And not worth the effort right now, since I gotta crawl
back in bed soon, so I can return to that ugly, 4 letter
    obscenity, called WORK!! :teeth:

Only wish I knew how much more I can handle!!
Having some intense pain in lower back, from what I think is a pulled muscle, or equivalent.
That, plus my feet, with blisters forming again.....I'm a jacked up mess!!

Oh well.......despite that, I was still able to get out
and have some major fun, running trains outside!! To the enjoyment
    of a few neighbors even!!

Photos either before I crash for the afternoon, or in the AM, after work.

And now, until I'm officially done with work, no
out door operations planned. Plus, gonna be way to hot
for personal preference. After that, could be anything goes!

Trying to find the right media card!
Unless I goofed again, and took photos of the action, but
with NO card in my camera! I've done that a few times.
Starting to wonder........Will continue to look. Know I have it, somewhere!

A few photos showing what should be my final layout design.
Just need to get the necessary track components in order to finish.
Finish track, level and ballast is all that's needed.

Eventual connection to backyard, and single siding in front.

General view of all connections for backyard.

Main/siding as it heads towards the back. Switches are temporary.
Gives me proper curve and track spacing! They will be removed later!

And yes, being out of work as of Wednesday next week, I will have plenty of time to work on getting the front yard complete
and hopefully, in decent working order!! To date, things are looking good, plants and rock garden taking shape!! Plenty of interesting colors!!
Would have like more vertical in the "mountains", but, I still like what's been done!
Up next, a few shots of the BLW Goose #6 in action! Can't find the ones I thought I took during vacation!

And now, a few photos of my BLW Goose #6 in action last night!
Try not to mind the dust! Second or third time the Goose has been run since I bought it!
    On display otherwise.

Coming round the bend! Would look a bit better, without garden hose!!

Crossing the creek. Or drainage from the roof.
Need to get a trestle installed some day!

    Passing behind flowers in bloom!

Sounds like everything is coming together as hoped, for this event?

    So far, all is good.
    Sent out SSDI paperwork yesterday.
Now, just a matter of waiting. Looking
into a couple of more things on Monday maybe.
Get things started before I'm off work completely.
