""As soon as we heard of the pending desmise of Frisco, we took off to parts unknown seeking out as many Frisco trains as we could find before it was too late."

Hmmm, sounds like something I have to have. What's the name of this video and where do I get it?! :D

Very cool! Can you share some additional details about it? Such as which locales did you feature, which locomotive types were you able to capture and how long is the video?

I've been looking for videos of the later years Frisco, Orange/Whites, it seems forever. I found one that hinted at a couple of shots, but a full blown fiesta of nothing but late model Frisco diesels would be quite exceptional!

I got the video on ebay some time ago. It is very old and the quality is not good. The company that produced it no longer exsist and I have inquired about the copyright but have had no luck. I also have one produced by the Frisco but BNSF will not allow me to copy it. So for now a snippit here and ther on YouTube is all thats left.

Well be sure to get that transferred over to DVD for preservation if you haven't already done so (or if it isn't already on DVD - looks to be originally VHS?) What you've got there is an important historical document! ;)
