Ha, I was thinking, some sort of 3D thing, but gotta tell you, .pdf works just fine...

Nice track plan, a lot of potential action in it.

    Bruce,
Very nice layout! Very nice modeling!
A lot of different buildings from different eras of Z.
The foundry building is my favorite. Are some of the buildings scratch built?
I like the dinner, modified Marklin passenger car.
Look like some might have been from John Harmon.
Your PDF is a great presentation, especially the pictures of components.

    Thanks for posting this,
    Scott

Thanks Scott. The round house, coal tipple, sand house, water tank, truck service center, and yard tower are scratch built. Some others are kit bashed.

Great presentation and great motivator for all the newbies entering into Z-scale. This demonstrates the beauty of Z, showing that alot can be "going on" in a small space. The transition over to "Counterville" is great, which as one can see doubles as your workspace. Nice to do a little work on an engine, and then from your same seat, send it on down the line to see how it performs live on the layout.

I'm hoping that many other TrainBoard members will share their own efforts. It's inspiring to see your imagination, problem-solving and craftsmanship.

A technical note: I used my Pixel 4a phone to capture all the scenes. I used AnyRail6 to illustrate the track layouts. I also snagged a few files from on-line sites. I then arranged all the items within PowerPoint. When I finished building the presentation, I saved it as a .pdf file "for online display", not to print. The 80MB Powerpoint file was thus reduced to a 1.8MB file, small enough for members to download/view.
