Some of you have probably heard me discuss from time to time that I own a bookstore. Usually, the books and the trains are separate spheres, but on May 9 my interests are going to collide for a while. We're hosting James McCommons, author of Waiting on a Train, who will be leading a discussion on the current state and future of passenger rail in the United States at St. Johns Booksellers in the St. Johns neighborhood of North Portland. I was unaware of the book, thanks for posting. Won't be able to come by on the 9th, might stress the budget, not to mention a happy marriage...:tb-wink:
