My wife and I are holidaying in Barcelona in August. I have started trying to find out about public transport in the City and am quite surprised (altho' I'm not quite sure why I should be so surprised!) to discover that there is an extensive, nearly 80 year (in part) old metro system. I have seen one or two good web sites about the system but was wondering if any members have been to the city and used the system and if they have any comments, thoughts, opinions, photographs etc they could share with me - I value members' comments far more than anything I might find on other websites or works published for the general public.
