Howdy All, just built me an album for my Washington State shortline images. They include the Battleground Yacolt & Chelatchie Prarie, Puget Sound & Pacific, Columbia & Cowlitz, and Tacoma Rail. I'll add the Weyerhaueser Woods Line once I get them scanned.

Please note the CLC shots were taken on the fly and the best that could be gotten under the circumstances. :)

In the future I may also add some industrial units and fallen flag shortlines too.

Come by and check em out: http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/album.php?albumid=1100

My last time in Tacoma, I couldn't even get off the road to photo the shops. Traffic was roaring along bumper to bumper. Disappointing.

Just added my Weyerhaueser shots from a 2007 trip. I wasn't digital nor very good with the camera so they kinda turned out dark and grainy but that's what ya get. :)

    What type of film?

Don't recall if I asked- Looks like you caught the trash train. Were you just free wheeling, or did you have a scanner?

Don't recall the film but probably 400 speed Fuji or Kodak. One hour photo which didn't help (new flatbed scanner sucks too). Never was good with the settings on a camera. :) I've always preferred darker days or inside shots, those I usually did better on for some unknown reason. Hence the probability it was 400 speed. Seemed to work out better. Love my little digital to death!!! Kodak 1012IS. As stated in my signature, I'm not a photographer, just a photo documenter. :D

We were coming south on I5 to Longview and saw this train returning from the woods. Had to chase it through Kelso till we could get ahead and set up. Never used a freq. scanner.
