Great shots everyone - as usual! John W - wow, that's a looooong way down. Hope that bridge is inspected regularly. Only one shot this week. Same pair of weathered hoppers as last week, but from a new angle:
Thanks, Hemi. I did, indeed, do that. It was masked, but touched up by hand at the end. The black and silver colors do cover each other very well. That makes it easier.
Bruce: Nice weathered hoppers, but what about that bridge in the background? Really nice job on that. Looks like it is still under construction.
Another E unit: Farr grills are Plano. The nose was masked, too, and finished off by hand. The paint always leaks a little.
Looks like some rail fans have found a good spot to spy an engine with a holiday paint job, still in need of lettering. How does a leprachaun see out of the cab, sit on his pot o' gold?

Tom, Fantastic modelling as usual and love those hoppers. This afternoon (Sunday) I decided to patch a couple of hoppers I recently bought on Ebay, here are the results.
Thanks. It's a 2% grade, although that area can fool the eye with the angle of the fill and hills, etc.
