Great stuff everyone. Tompm, that scene you have there is terrific. Wyatt, your scenery is looking good too. I like the shot from down low looking up the slope. I'll add mine to the mix. I just finished this Nscale BS 169 class waffle side box car.
Thanks Flash & Russ !!!!! Flash, that idea came to mind, but I wanted them to light. So I get the MS decals(lightable) & like Russ said, they don''t cover the board. But,they look good. I'll try them when my hands work better.
Another hint. With the light board out of the shell, hand paint black all around the edges of the end of the light board leaving just enough clear opening for the height of the numbers. I use white stripe decal that I carefully trim to be the same height as the numbers. After it has been applied and dried I lay the numbers over the white. If you trim each number right at the edge of the next number on the sheet you usually have enough black to overlap between the applied numbers to get rid of light leaks.
SOO,MILW,CNW Nice shots! The locomotives look great! Red Rock Great looking car! Jeff Great looking scene! The signals look great! satokuma Great scenes! The caboose looks terrific! Thanks everyone for the compliments. Here are some shots of my two IHC Lehigh & New England 0-8-0 switchers. One is numbered 135 which I finished weathering a couple nights ago. The other I renumbered 132 and weathered. BTW when I was working on the Reading MIkado and the second LNE switcher I took a lot of pictures. My intention was to post a tutorial in the future. [ 24. Aww comon FD I'm on the edge of my seat, Dying to see this bridge go in,hows the market for Micro Engineering bridges at the mo?
Good job on the building Jon. Mine has changed quite a lot since the last pics! Will photograph it again.
I found a shop that said they could get them for me. I don't know if they meant that they had them in stock or not, but I know of at least one place other than where I ordered mine that claims to have them in stock. It should be an interesting bridge. There will be 13 40' girder sections.
