Welcome to this weekend edition. Lets see what you got.
Here is a shot of an old Arnold Rapido 4-6-2 Pacific (one of the first N scale North American Steamers produced). I kit bashed it into a Southern Pacific P-13 using a Bachmann oil tender. These were the largest Pacifics on the SP and ran in Texas and Louisian on the T&NO.

Here is the new CC SP 2-10-2. There is a decoder in the tender plus 14 grams of extra weight to provide better electrical tracking since most of the pickup for this loco is in the tender.

The CC 2-10-2 can pull 40 + cars on level track and 30 + cars up the 2% grades of the JJJ&E.

A SP 2-8-2 Mikado on the point with the SP 2-10-2 high in the Monterrey Mountains of the JJJ&E:

    Russ -

I'm not a steam fan, so I won't be one to fully appreciate your bash job. But I'm really liking that picture. The low angle of photography makes it look authentic. Nice job!

Great work guys!!! I especially like the tow truck. And colonel, don't you dare repaint those CP units.LOL

Here is pic of the trees I made installed on the scenic'd portion of my layout. I am happy with the result. I know I will win no scenery contest, but I am happy so there,LOL
    [IMG]

One more of the trees just stuck in the foam to hide/conceal staging.

Well I am off to bed. I have a guest coming over tomorrow to run some trains. Adios Wyatt

Hi All, great stuff today. Busy weekend but I did manage to put couplers on the new F7 set.

Boy, an ABBA consist is long... sorry about the poor photo, did it in a hurry. Just waiting for decoders to put in the trailing AB pair then I can run together.

    loco1999,

I like the refinery as I have one on my layout. I also have always wanted the crane system you have but have never purchsed one. Is the crane hard to assemble?

    Thanks,

Mike, do what my wife did--she's always complained about me never letting her have the camera, and missing something odd int he yards, that she bought a p/s 4MP camera for 180 bones. Takes decent pics, tho the shutter speed is slow...

No modeling shots, just a pair of BRAND-NEW Uncle Pete units (GEVO and SD70ACe) in dramatic storm light:

Right after I took these the locomotive began giving me running problems. Right now it is on the workbench waiting for a diagnosis and repair.
