From 2017 on my Delaware, Susquehanna & Northern v2.0, now gone. Those are Kato GP-38-2s and a de-motored Model Power C-420 that I painted.
Good morning from foggy and cool Northeast Ohio! This week I managed to complete a couple of cars. First, a McKeen/Front Range 50' RBL where I removed the cast on underframe and replaced it with a Details West one, along with Moloco Draft Gear Boxes and Uncoupling levers and A-Line Sill Steps, painted with Scalecoat II Armour Yellow, Silver and Boxcar Red paints and lettered with Mask Island (Now Highball Graphics) decals. These cars were used in handling finished products out of the Campbell Soup plant in Napoleon, OH as evidenced by the 1090 code above the car number. Next an Athearn 60' PS Boxcar kit, painted with Scalecoat II Armour Yellow and Silver paints and lettered with a really old Walther's decal. As evidenced by the 155 code the car was in auto parts service for Ford and the car was to be returned to the Warren, MI plant for reloading. Here is a pair of DT&I Athearn GP40-2's with a train full of various RBL and XLI boxcars that were assigned to the Campbell's Soup Plant heading for Malinta, OH to be transported up the branch to the plant in Napoleon, OH. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski
Been hooking up some of the lighting on my layout and playing around with some night scenes. In this pre-dawn view of the propane dealer, the first delivery truck of the day is being loaded before starting its route. In the background, an eastbound Southern Pacific freight has stopped in Carlin yard for a crew change and to take on fuel.
Forgotten? ... on our way to THE CHESAPEAKE BAY: Details? https://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?threads/the-old-port-shop.125242/ Enjoy your WE! Best, Sven
Some Farmrail. An Athearn GP38-2 RTR that I added some details to and finishing with a side shot and the wide vision caboose I painted and decaled.
I wanted 2 of those in HO DCC but, have had to back off HO for now. I do have a black one "New York Central" in N scale DC. The caboose would be nice as well.
