    Here we go!
I chased a grain train east out of Minot on the Devils Lake Sub earlier this month, and visited an unknown to me elevator I spied on Google maps.
Welcome to Granville, ND. Head end passes:

The train passes in the night as faint auroras build to the north:

From 03/21/1996 at Poplar, NC on the former Clinchfield. GE AC4400CW #33 is just a year old. The 7804 is a GE C40-8W delivered in 1992.

They named a tube station in London after me. How did they know that I was a block head.:p;):D

It's Baaack! PM 1225 passes the old Woodard Furniture Company on the way ou of Owosso with the day's first run of the North Poke Express last Sunday, December 17th. The old Woodard plant now houses loft apartments, offices and a restaurant.

    Leaving Owosso.jpg

The destination, Ashley, Mich. once boasted both a wye and a siding, it now has neither, requiring this leased diesel to pull the train back to Owosso. In general, this isn't my favorite thing to see, but I have to say that Precision Leasing does have an extremely sharp livery

The Brits are "blokes", so I guess that it's a small step to being a blockhead.:X3:

There really is a kind of cool aura around a symmetrical four-sided rectilinear geometric figure.

When we lived in California we always went to Knotts Berry Farm at Christmas time. Rio Grande narrow gauge #340 from Christmas 2008.

Saw an autorack train in Cartersville earlier today. Missed the power though. In the consist was this P&W GATX autorack. I've not seen this paint scheme before and maybe it's just me but it looks like in addition to the new panels, that some of the older panels have been rearranged,
