    The old MoPac/Katy joint line from Houston to Galveston passed right behind the foot ball stadium at Dickinson High School where I attended. Many a game was punctuated by a passing freight that drowned out the play-by-play announcer on the PA.
    This photo is from an earlier era but the stadium was built just to the left of this siding.
