Cool hand car in the yard there. Here is a motorized one I saw last weekend. Was not on a track but as you can see from the exhaust, it was running.
Russell, Thank you for explaining the picture. My first thought was that some railfan converted a speeder into a barbeque grill! Looks cool though!
Anthony Lorch (antlorch) is a long time friend of mine here in San Antonio and a fairly new TrainBoard member. Anthony stopped by today to advise me that he is moving from N scale to H0 scale. We had a come-to-the-heart meeting here at my layout and discussed some important things today. While we were at that, I did take a few pictures of his N scale engines. Anthony has been a fine N scale modeler as long as I have known him, but, as you can see, he may be raising the bar in H0 scale. I tried to help him all I could, but...well, you can see here: SD60 C30-7 SD50 C30-7 long hood detail. Note brake line on rear truck. Not too bad, you know?
Here is my entry in this weeks photo challenge hopefully we will get lots of entries this weekend, the topic is "Blue"
A shot of a pair of pumpkins running on the layout. This is the only section of my layout that is detailed enough for a bit of photo fun.
Nice images, gentlemen. I don't know about a challenge, but I'll certainly try to add to the visual variety if my image makes the grade. What I submit this weekend is a variation of last weekend's.
working on th layout trybg to get some realistic rocks cliffs in the mountain part. I got some real rocks from the alps here in Italy: after that I did some molds using siliconic rubber and used them to apply plaster to the layout. Here are some shots about what I've done: ciao
