Dang!! I had to follow Tony. :tb-wacky: Oh well,....great work, Tony. Some day I hope to be able to build something as well as that. To all, very nice work, as usual. Here ya go.. I took this for another "project" where we are to show our backrop.
I've been working on the East Harbor--still some pink foam showing where I build up the docks, and no water poured yet. Here's the Pirate at the dock. I'm using buildings to try to cut down the difference between the water and the deck. Still got a little leveling to do.
I'm adding some buildings to the East Harbor. I'm actually just using up supplies in my spare parts box. I'm having fun building roofs from matte board--lots of horizontal scores, a few vertical ones, and then a little picking with the point of a No. 11 eXacto blade. No water yet--just water stains. I'll fix them up. That's the stern of my Benson-class destroyer. Boy, I've progressed a lot since building that!
Great pics everyone~ Most impressive. Wolfgagng: What kind of lighting are you using in that depot? Skipgear: Any closeup shots into the windows of that hospital? Russ
Thank you, there are more shots of the build of the hospital here: Large HO Layout 16 x 16 - RailImages.com
Those are just pieces of plain paper. I cut them to length and width then snipped the ends at angle. I then bent the ends down then mounted it in place with white glue. After it's painted it's hard to tell it from thin plastic.
