I know you're not talking about me. My shots this weekend, with the exception of one, are od things I'm currently working on.
Granted a lot of people are probably too busy to post. There is only a week and a half until Christmas, and there are other things needed to be done. Not every week can be "best ever" I don't see why complain over posting more than one photo. Its photo FUN, not photo ONE.
I know this photo does not have a train in it but I wanted to post something different. This is the snack bar that is in the airplane museum and is in N scale.
Wanted to post the very little progress I've made on the layout. I'm gonna be annoying and post two photos though... First photo shows the key pieces I've added, all non-railroad items: (1) facia which is only roughed in at the moment, (2) legs, (3) lower "train table" that will house my son's Lionel set...or whatever else he wants to play with for that matter, (freshly painted in this photo) and (4) the backdrop that still needs to be trimmed up a little and painted. Second photo shows the "train room", which is also my living room, dining room, media room, office, breakfast nook, and spare bedroom. So I figured since it is "furniture" now, I should probably work on the cosmetics.
Three words: Keep It Civil. IIRC, there are no limits on pics to post, so if you have more, by all means put 'em here.
Doug, nice job on the train table/furniture. That looks nice, and will keep Mom, Dad, and Junior happy!
Out railfanning, I caught a westbound coal train coming through the cut approaching Carbo, WV. See ya. Larry
Flash, you can keep posting all of those "old Chicago" pics you got.. They look great and bring back some great memories. So bring them on. There you have some from me.. First one from current layout,,lasttwo from old/first layout. adios,,,, I am wyatt and I approve everything!!!!!!
Thanks. Here's the track plan: The side with the wye is the side that is facing you in the picture. You can see the cutout for the creek in the lower right corner (above) on the left side of the facia in the photo. And you can find out more at my blog, too. http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/blog.php?u=707
