This Old Army truck set up to run on the rails was spotted moving around in the yards. The truck was later spotted pulling out of the yard with this small stock box in tow. As for the D&RGW loco, this is what the one I done looks like;
Howard, I like those Frisco SD45s! Are those LifeLike Protos or Athearn (the new RTR line) models? One of my favorite Frisco lashups is two SD45s with an F9B between them- I saw this arrangement several times on the Cherokee Sub until all the Fs were retired.
They are Kato models. I had a P2K #925 but I dropped it. I have a couple of the Athearn models in the paint shop and should be ready for service next weekend.
I had been wondering why it looked "darker" than a usual Rio Grande engine. I do like the look without, but give it the brow anyway. It'll be more convincing.
My mental image suggests it would look better with the coloured brow. Striped even, to match the nose. Either way.
