As many of you know I've been building layouts one after another for about 11 years. I'm getting a bit old and I've finished my last layout. While it resides in my old trainroom, spare bedroom, it is only 4'x6'. I've built it with as much detail as I could and here is a photo for you. Jim
Finally now that Photobucket is back up I can post some now too! Here is car #8 of 12, Tichy Anderson's car, which is an old Panel Side hopper of the Wabash era with an extension and canvas cover to protect the grain from the elements. Car is fun to build but time consuming, painted with some green tinted Floquil Platinum mist and then lettered with kit supplied decals. These used to run behind my house in Toledo, OH. Athearn ACF 2970CF Covered Hopper kit, painted with Scalecoat II MofW Gray and lettered with Herald King Decals. Atlas FMC 5077CF Boxcar kit, painted with Floquil Railbox Yellow, and Platinum Mist paints, then lettered with Herald King Decals. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski

I noted that this was car #8 out of the 10 I originally had, I have picked up a couple more on sale or E-Bay cheap so I still have 4 more to do. It takes about a month to finish one car, as I fit it in around other work I am doing and to make sure the glue is dry before working on other sections of the car. Rick
Harald, please do not apologize for a well presented video. It moved us through excellent scenery and trackwork which photographs would not. Thank you.
My kids recently discovered my 1980s era Hot Wheels Railroad sets in my parent's basement. Took them home, cleaned them up around Christmas time, and I've been slowly accumulating extra rolling stock (since there's never enough for two boys to share). I'm aiming for more rarer pieces and doing quite well so far cost wise. The first four in the shot are really tough to find now. Especially the Pennzoil tanker.
