Hey Randy, that first shot of yours, wow, you captured Flag really well. I coulda sworn I was standing on San Francisco St. looking over at the station. Very nice! As for me, I thought I'd share this with all of you. I've been upgrading this American Models S scale GP35 for my fathers Hi-Rail layout. The stock paint job is pretty bad for a BN loco. The only black on it was the top. So I've gone and painted the pilots, walkways, and anti glare panel on the nose black, and painted the handrails green and the railing ends and step ends white. I relocated the horn the rear, and made a beacon by sanding down a 3mm LED. It's missing some glass right now, as I'm waiting for them to get shipped from AM. They were MIA when my father bought the loco. Still need to print out some numbers for the numberboards then she'll be done. I felt very out of place working with something this large. The ATSF geep 35 is more in my comfort zone. -Mike
Thanks. Here are a few more over on PhotoBucket http://s527.photobucket.com/albums/cc354/ClinchValley/ And lots more on the RailImage folder. See ya. Larry
The UPS supervisor would be very unhappy with his driver's methods, but I really liked this picture with the UPS package car. Where did you get the UPS model? It looks just like the one I drive.
Here's a pair of wide noses running elephant on my Allegheny & Cumberland .... ..... & here's a trio of geep helpers arriving back at M&K Jct ....
Go SteelCards Well, there's a game of some sort this week end... Here's some shots...Yes, the F unit is from the Rio Grande stables, just not numbered yet. I have all 30 Mantua releases for the NFL, plus a couple to turn into the Texans & Titans. Enjoy. PHL
I know he is on the wrong side of the road, he's new. The police car is just out of sight on the way to give him a warning. The truck is one of the Atlas Masterpiece collection repainted. They come apart fairly easy and paint well. I printed up some classic UPS style decals for it as the truck is really too new for the theme of the layout but the gentleman wants a UPS truck and I haven't been able to find a 50's style delivery truck that we like.
Just finished, made with Windows Movie Maker: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmkOy4TsX7s]videot[/ame] I've bought this engine, a brass shay, in 1998 at a convention. My friend Friedhelm made new gearing, I had to install a Seuthe smoke unit. With "blood and sweat", 5 mm smoke unit and 6mm stack diameter. Wolfgang
