Great pictures, friends. I have only a module in progress. Here's a first picture from my module Salina with all four segments. I'm still waiting for some track. So I'm busy with wiring - so far. Wolfgang
Best Shot I Ever Took: Well, ok, it won't win awards and I am biased but: The woman who has stood by me through all of the tough times over the past 16+ months. We um, "just happened to be here" as the 4:28 to inbound to Boston. Naaa, me? plan a pic like this? Not me, no way. Laura and a GP40X, what a pair of beauties.
I went by the local H0 club modular group. They run each weekend in a local mall. Here are some photos of the very nice scenes on the modules. All H0 scale.
Fireworks over the river A crowd gathers on the bridge to watch the Independence Day fireworks over the river. Event planners had hoped that the fireworks would coincide with the arrival of TBX 3401, but apparently the originating shipper wasn't on the ball, and missed the holiday shipping cutoff. The real fireworks crowd, with their little feet stuck to some double-sided tape...
Yep, and instead of a ball, it was a big rotten egg. But you could always re-create the scene and just say it took a day or two to process the image.
Great fireworks! Here are some 1st shots from my new Pentax K-X. These are the best two out of about 30 shots at different settings. I have lot to learn to get the best settings for my lighting. Yes these were taken with a tripod.
Flash, I have four. An AC-2,AC-4 and 2 AC-12's. And of course the Yellowstone(AC-9) Pretty darn cool!!
Here's my Chessie fleet waiting for assignment...and some details and weathering. There were some good deals at the 2010 N scale convention.
