Been doing a bit of work on the layout today. I got the pedestrian bridge in place and I did a bit of relighting work at the back of the layout.

Jeffrey, nice detailing down the tracks towards the new bridge. Is the bridge leaning to the right, or is that camera angle?

Hey Mike, thats some good looking results for your water feature. I plan to do a small water feature and would like to know your methods. Would you share them as a how to thread? Then again my wife asked me why I needed water in a river or creek that represents something around here (Inland Empire in SoCal), so I may end up with a bare sandy bottom but wouls still like to intigrate something with water.

The bridge is angled slightly so the left end is closer to the camera than the right, so yes, it's the camera angle.

This shot has the camera angle straight relative to the bridge. Notice the difference?

Thanks for the comments on my stream.
I'm thinking/hoping the pollution won't be quite so noticeable after the final pour.
For Spidge and anyone else interested I can show what I did from the beginning. Guessing the Inspection Pit is the place for that....?

    a couple more

They are some I purchased from china off of flea-bay. They even came in a crazy chinese mailing bag!!!
They originally had a "wierd" green foliage, but a blast with glue and a roll in a bag of WS turf (I think) had them looking good.
    Glad you like them.

Two Passenger Trains Collide, Many Dead!

Eastbound Amtrak Train 11 collides with eastbound ICG City of New Orleans, 37 plastic people lost their lives, many more injured!

Amtrak Train 11 entered a misaligned crossover switch near Edison, CA, causing the locomotive to slam into the side of ICG City of New Orleans. Several cars derailed, but somehow the locomotive stayed on the track.

Johnny Styrene, a passenger on Train 11 said, "The impact was shocking, like hitting a brick wall, but I somehow managed to stay in my seat."

Polly Merr, a passenger on the City of New Orleans said, "I froze with fear while the train bounced around like a fish out of water."

Authorities were quickly on the scene to document the wreckage. Urine samples were collected from the crews of both trains, and the investigation notices have been sent out.

Trainmaster Doug documents the wreckage as ICG Engineer Kevin stands by in shock.

I see some great new progress shots...water and landscapes with BNSF diesels...nice touch, fellas.

I don't know if I have snuck this one in before, so forgive me. I took it some time ago, as my older water tank will suggest.
