I am working on an inside corner N-scale T-Trak module. No specific prototype, just a generic grain elevator typical of the rice dryers on the Texas coastal prairies. The structure built from Evergreen styrene still needs details and paint.
Finished my ATSF Ce-3 rebuild out of an old Trix body with Kato frame and parts, lots of wire and etched parts, with a Richmond Controls lighting package that has interior lighting and reverses markers with direction.
Finished some freight cars this week! IMRC 40' PS1 Boxcar, I substituted a McKeen Models 8' PS Door for the Superior Door that came with the kit, installed A-line Sill Steps, painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and lettered with Greg Komar Decals. Robbins Rails (AHM) 2893CF Covered Hopper Kit, added airlines, painted with Scalecoat II MofW Gray and lettered with Champ Decals. Thanks for looking! Rick J
Russ, that elevator turned out very nice. Rick, I always look forward to photos of your new cars. Always well done!
I like the light on the caboose, especially since I got one of Richmond's units a long time back to put a beacon on a loco. They're great!
Nothing earth shattering from me, happen to be in East Bendtoday and looked up to see this going over the old Passenger Terminal. That little tanker still dwarfs the semi. You don't see many 0-4-2s either. Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk
Is that a deer walking up the draw ??? Looks pretty real to me but most of your layouts look real anyways ....
Installed 24 linear feet of double track shelf around the garage. This will just be a loop to run stuff since there isn't room in the house and no money for a shed for a while. Sent from my LG-P930 using Tapatalk 2
Sometimes we just have to go back to the basics of the hobby. We just want to run some trains! Sent from my LG-P930 using Tapatalk 2
