This weekend I am at the Oklahoma City Train Show. I will be setting up my Richmond, Texas modules in the show NTRAK layout.
I suppose I will end the month with my selection of HO Scale New York Central System Cars: My second P&E Enterprise Covered Hopper one of 30 from Lot 747-H, Eastern Car Works kit with added airlines, painted Scalecoat II MOW Gray and lettered with Mark Vaughn Decals. My second GACX 2600 CF Covered Hopper assigned to the NYC, added the airline under the side of the car, painted with Scalecoat II MOW Gray and lettered with Mark Vaughn Decals, (included with the set above). Proto 2000 Boxcar, painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and lettered with Champ Decals. Thanks for looking! Rick J
Rick J, You always have an impressive array of custom rolling stock to share each week. Your freight fleet must be enormous! Thanks for sharing! This is what I did last weekend: I intend to work on my car this weekend, so hopefully a transmission fluid serviceing doesn't take all day... Otherwise, the other half of Crescent Siding needs some ballast.
NICE! All of you! I wish I had two things, the skill and patience to ballast track as well as you, Hemi. Again, I am constrained to old images since I am between layouts. New one is very slow...it's the season. Pennsy Q2 on a Mission
I just tried to edit my post because of my spelling mistake & there's not edit button. Mark, your posts have a file on my computer. Just great.
An ex-CP&E Alco S4 #78 and G&OM SW9 #1113 head over to the B&O interchange to pull a cut of cars to the east end of Ravenswood Yard.
Pat: Great scene. I particularly like the different ballast colors. Here are some old MK TE70-4S photos. I can't remember where I got the shell. It was a special casting, though.
Flash, those units are very cool! I have pics of them in storage in Oakland, Ca. way back when. I didn't know somone was making a model for them.
