Old photo from March 2006, taken on Jim Younkin's beautiful layout,
the Mud Bay & Southern, in Olympia, Washington:

    A gorgeous layout:

Thx, Jim, and to Brian, for hosting me during that business trip up there
3 1/2 years ago! A treat that I'll always remember. If any of you get to
see Jim Younkin's modeling up close and personal - you're in for a super treat.
He does great stuff, a real craftsman and representative of the artsmanship
    of our hobby :)

I love it. That lower shot, especially, shows a great bit of modeling.

You steam heads should be able to ID the type of loco this valve gear is on.

When I look at this, I can hear that distinctive sound that wind makes as it whips through stiff, leafless trees. Great effect, Mike!

That is a fantastic winter photo and one that I also have experienced more than I would care for in Minnesota :)

I have a second image for this weekend taken in the same place. I have added Pop and changed the engine and consist. I also took the image with bright daylight showing in a window just to the left of the caboose on the far wall. Gives a different feel.

Hello everyone. Great photos as usual. The winter shot is too real to be a model, great work. Here are a few. The GP30 leading the U25B and RS32 just had the lights reworked, much better now.

Some good stuff this week for sure. Mike's winter scene is chilling.

    Nice looking layout Chad.
