Time to get another edition of Weekend Proto Fun rolling. Back in June of 2016, I had to make a business trip up to Nashville TN. Along the way, I made a detour and happened across this Caney Fork & Western geep. I'm travelling to Nashville again this year in June and who knows, just maybe I'll see this engine again.
BNSF Sandhills Sub, Seneca, NE MP 151. The general public can not get to this spot. Being the conductor is good some days. Shot with an iPhone 13 Pro Max Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That backlit Saluda shot is on FIRE! Love that light on the exhaust and wires. Westbound CP 445, the daily St Paul-Calgary manifest gets underway just west of Minot West in a torrential downpour: Storm light at morning golden hour with an eastbound grain train at the GN station: CP 149 barrels west at the Split, MP 480, CP Portal Sub.
Hi All: Got to go visit the Steam in the Valley event in Cuyahoga Valley National Park today -- the star of the show is NKP 765 and she was shining brightly today. We also caught the CVSR 6777 FP4-A on the tail end of the train
Nice! A steamy Lima and a veteran MLW diesel in one train. I like how they adapted CN's 1950s passenger scheme to the FPA-4. Beautiful things at both ends.
