That sure looks like it would be great scenery to model, particularly adapted to a module of some sort.
That's one of two such canyons along the Yakima River, which the old NP passes through. This segment is between Ellensburg and Yakima. The other is west of Ellensburg, between Thorp and Cle Elum. Not the easiest for photos, and many days blustery winds funnel through both. Such as the case this particular day.
