Well, this unit is close to the border, but not the right border.

Former CN GP40 hangs out in the Yard in San Diego Ca.

That map scheme always struck me as nice. Right beside an old turntable?

Been meaning to post these for a year now, and still need to upload them into Rail Images.

Tuesday was my friend Jerry's last day as the full time brakeman on the Bell County Branch, but despite the cold and rain I got his picture with the 1074. He said that he is being moved to a job that works out of Clinton TN and the Middlesboro brakeman job is only going to be on days they need, but with 37 years he hopes he can get the Middlesboro job back.

Excellent human interest photo. We don't see enough of the people who make the railroads succeed.

Nice looking depot. I wonder what the scene was like, with tracks in place?

The last time I saw this place in use, it had multiple RR personnel handing paperwork. There was a compact, busy yard in front, multiple units of motive power idling and past the far end of the depot, stood a wooden RR freight house. Now you cannot tell there as ever anything railroad in the area! The Union Pacific agency in Kellogg, Idaho:

I second that. The first one with the crossing gates in the foreground is really nice.

Yeah. Definitely the fog shots are winners. What time of day was this taken?

Thanks folks. I just happened upon the train as they did a crew change so it was stopped and then took off slowly.

The second view in post #18 is a real winner! It appears to have been a CSX engine, a bit far from home.
