This Leaser makes it's way to the roseville shops once every 90 days or so. The shiny bright red always catches the eye as it did this morning as the sun was coming up.
The Valley Girl made history on October 10th as the first heritage unit to work the Bell County Branch, and boy she's pretty! The day was different as Bell Co's flood loading system was down and several Top Gons were needed switched out of the train as they were marked for scrap. So after several hours of calls, conversations, and "beatin and bangin" the train left and set out cars at Apollo Fuels on a nearby branch. The next day the Bell County train got loaded, and it was a lot less stressful than the day before. Jerry thought me how to tell when a car is correctly coupled so I got to help with the switching.
