Well, maybe not the 1970s but I was up there today. This is on the "East"side of the pass looking down into the Tennessee Creek drainage. We were snowshoeing up East Tennessee Creek. The rails are right behind the ridge of brush in front of the snow field in the distance. If you zoom in and look carefully you may be able to pick out the tops of some of the telegraph poles against the snow.
