Marine Layer haze makes for less than stellar pictures as the Southbound Pacific Surfliner crosses Batquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad California.
The former Santa Fe surf line south to San Diego certainly has a similar feel to the Bay area railroad that he models. The big difference would be sand, surf and surfers. None of which you can see in that shot. Which is unfortunate. This was getting on close to noon and the sun was high so shots facing the beach were even worse.
The Q-316 hit a flat bed semi in Point Pleasant,WV. The city cop is talking to the crew.Nobody hurt. Curtis
Looks like there is a street intersection? What happened? The traffic was stopped on the tracks as the train approached? Or was the accident further back in the photo?

YoHo, I think the haze adds to the scene's beauty and mystique, especially with the combination of train and trestle.
Boxcab the train hit the truck on the main road and got stopped at the second crossing. The main road doesn't have arms just lights. The road is a state road RT62. Curtis
