I am so sorry everyone. Better late than never though Transfer run to UP Proviso Yard. I don't remember the year, but this is Taken in Oak Park Illinois on the Elevated section of former C&NW.
These guys weren't happy with this HCLX on the Ohio River Sub. 100 degrees. Air not working, only the front door being open. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-OhEe6fWOYa8/UADU2lAcg1I/AAAAAAAAIw4/N5_OcqmojZ0/s800/IMG_0585.JPG Curtis
I took this with my new iPhone. I was just starting my shift at work in Petaluma when this southbound NWP train showed up.
We sure aren't hearing much about the NWP. How is that project coming along these days? Business on line?
I think they had to pull this steamer out of service at the museum in Kentucky Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using Tapatalk 2

I caught these this morning @ New Hall Yard in Santa Clara. Yes this is a Patched AC4400CW in 2012!!!!!
Sorry to know it is out for the season, but at least it is not due to any accident of mechanical failure.
From the looks of the few trains I've seen, there's lumber going to someplace on the line...and feed to or from a mill. I know there used to be lumber mills up north of here in Healdsburg. There's a couple of feed mills in Petaluma that I know of as well. Nick, if I remember correctly, there's a few patched units up in the South San Francisco yard that I see at night when I'm down there.
Is there a site on line with more current NWP info? There is one blog page know about, but it has not seen an update since summer of 2009.
