Hello All, Well after a 2 week vacation back to Chicago and Door County Wisconsin, it is time to get back too it. Thanks to Ken for handling the chores. This trip was not about train chasing, and my bad luck has held out that I still have not seen a single train on any of the tracks along I43 north of Milwaukee. And much of the trackage through Manitowoc, Two Rivers and Kewanee is cut off or in the weeds. I didn't even see the Badger this trip which was the reason GB&W even had tracks to Kewanee. Still, one cannot go 5 days in Chicago without seeing something rail related. We were staying with friends on the south side and were quite close to various tracks, but didn't get a chance to railfan there, but as luck would have it, UP accomodated me while we were out in River Forest Where I grew up. Both of these are taken around the River Forest Train Station on the UP nee C&NW west line The second one was a quick grab while I was watching my 7 month old.
